The Ridge Community Church in New Berlin, WI launched yesterday with an attendance of 408, including about 60 core group members who were mostly from RiverGlen Christian Church in Waukesha. They now meet weekly at the Ridge Cinemas in New Berlin.
The new plant was originated by the church planting team of East 91st Christian Church in Indianapolis, IN. They slected Mark Weigt as Lead Pastor for the new church, who, along with a staff of four others, led preparations for the launch. They also received support from RiverGlen, Owensboro Christian Church, Owensboro, KY, Southland Christian Church, Lexington, KY, Southeast Christian Church, Louisville, KY, Central Christian Church, Beloit, WI, and others.
